Raising Money for Woking & Sam Beare Hospice

The Bourne Concert Band is a community with strong local ties.
On the 25th March the band gave a concert to the community with a disco theme, The band dressed appropriately and aimed to entertain with many disco tunes from ABBA, to the Bee Gees. There were free refreshments at the interval.
With close ties to the Woking & Sam Beare Hospice there was a retiring collection for this important service.
Georgina Watson from the Hospice attended the concert and later wrote; "I am pleased to confirm that the Bourne Concert Band School Disco Concert raised the amazing sum of £143.77 on behalf of the Woking & Sam Beare Hospice. We are so grateful for your support.
Your donation will be used to help our patients and their families through the most difficult times and we cannot thank you enough. Please pass our thanks to everyone involved in making this donation happen.
