Tom Greenhalf
Tom graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire in 2008 and worked as a Jazz pianist in Birmingham before joining the Army in 2011, subsequently being posted to the Band of the Grenadier Guards as a Clarinettist. After an exciting 9 years with the band, including performances at the 2012 London Olympics, Spruce Meadows in Calgary and the Queen’s Birthday Parade annually, Tom was assigned to British Army Band Sandhurst in 2020. He was then assigned in 2022 to the Royal Military School of Music, designing and running online training courses. He was successful in gaining a place on the British Army Bandmaster Course in 2024, and will graduate in summer 2026.
Tom was appointed the Musical Director of Bourne Concert Band in May 2019 and has conducted many enjoyable concerts with the band.
